Chicken Chasing Butterflies - Needle Felted Ornament

All our fiber is grown by our very own, well loved suri alpacas and is carefully harvested by us here on our little farm. Our suris live happily amongst the pine and fur trees of eastern Washington state. Every stage of processing is handled by us right here. Once we carefully and gently shear, I spend hours sorting, picking, and washing the fiber by hand. I do my very best to carefully open each suri lock, removing the vegetative matter *, and gently washing several times to remove as much dirt as I can.

*Please note that every needle felted ornament is made 100% by hand, so irregularities and imperfections are all part of the handcrafted charm.
